Our Story

The restaurant business is a truly satisfying endeavor. It gets in your blood and stays there. It requires all of your energy and most of your time.

Our story is long. We’ve been in it over thirty years having owned three along the way while raising a family. Our youngest daughter, Anna,  has become the major force behind Atlas as she and her father, Gerry, create all the menus together and share the responsibilities of a busy kitchen. I, Diane, am responsible for everything that happens in the front of the house. Our baker, Brenda, has worked with us in all of our restaurants over the years.

Bringing joy and comfort to people by way of a great dining experience has always been our goal. Every detail of making this happen excites us, and there are indeed endless details.

Vision, creative spirit, respect for ingredients, a sense of urgency and a strong work ethic have all led to our success in this demanding field. Above all, the camaraderie we create with our staff and customers becomes the lifeblood of our restaurant.
